My grandfather built a house across the road in 1926 because Seward Prosser told him it was a nice place to summer (they were NY bankers). I have spent every summer here except one when I was growing up and into adulthood. I was born in NJ and lived there many years. Following my divorce, I wound up in the non-profit (fund raising and how to do it) world at schools and arts councils in NJ. My grandmother left me the Boathouse, which I turned in to a year-round house, so when I retired I came back to my favorite place and reconnected with old friends and made new ones. I have served on the Falmouth Historical Society board and I'm still on the ArtsFalmouth board. I'm generally a nosey person and love being involved in projects and I'm willing to volunteer when an extra hand is needed. This is a wonderful town to network in and I'm continually amazed at how often there are reconnections. I have wonderful relations in West Falmouth as well.
