Spritsail is the bi-annual journal of the history of Falmouth and vicinity published by the Woods Hole Historical Collection. In recent issues there have been articles about the history of the Portuguese in Falmouth, about a ceramic block silo built in 1921 that is still standing in the Hatchville section of Falmouth, and about the renovation of the Katharine Lee Bates house. Katharine Lee Bates wrote the words to “America the Beautiful”.
